Dr Arsalan Mahmud, fondly referred to as “Dr Sam”, has a background in general medicine, cardiology, and nephrology with a particular passion for emergency medicine.
Since relocating to Tasmania in 2013, he has worked as a medical registrar in multiple specialties across the hospitals of northern and north-west Tasmania, and still maintains a clinical position and credentialing in the Tasmanian Health Service.
He holds specialist registration in general practice with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). He also has a Master of Clinical Embryology from Monash University.
Dr Sam shared his skills and knowledge with several general practices in Launceston and found great satisfaction in the field of general practice.
