Who gets a government-funded flu vaccine?
Under the National Immunisation Program the flu vaccine is funded for people aged 65 and over, children aged 6 months to under 5 years, pregnant women, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over, and people with certain medical conditions. Everyone else can have the vaccine privately; the fee is listed on our fees page and quoted when you book. Any state-funded program that widens eligibility is applied automatically at your visit.
