Extended hours, every day of the year

Health Nexus is open from 8am until 8pm Monday to Friday, on Saturdays and Sundays, and on public holidays, so you can see a GP after work, after school or at the weekend without waiting for Monday. We are open on every public holiday, including Christmas Day and New Year's Day, on our standard hours for that day.

As a general practice, we offer ongoing care as well as urgent care: you can see the same GP for routine and urgent problems, your records stay in one place, and follow-up, results and referrals are handled by the team who saw you.

Everything in one building

General practice

13 GPs with special interests including women's health, children's health, men's health, chronic disease, mental health and travel medicine, consulting in more than ten languages. Meet the doctors.

Same-day and after-hours care

A walk-in clinic from 5pm to 7pm on weekdays and 1pm to 3pm at weekends, same-day urgent appointments by phone or online request, evening appointments to 8pm on weekdays and weekend consulting every Saturday and Sunday.

Pathology on site

A pathology collection centre operates in the building on weekdays, so blood tests can usually be taken straight after your appointment without a second trip.

Skin, dental and specialist clinics

Skin cancer checks and skin surgery, emergency and after-hours dental care, iron infusions, immunisations and travel vaccinations, knee and elbow injection therapy and InBody scans, plus a visiting neurologist.

Clear, mixed billing

We publish our fees in full. Children aged 12 and under, pension card holders over 65 and DVA Gold Card holders are bulk billed for consultations on weekdays between 8am and 5pm; everyone else pays the standard fee with the Medicare rebate claimed on the spot, and a discounted fee applies to other concession card holders and students.
