Dr Nalika brings a rich and diverse medical background to Health Nexus.
Dr Nalika obtained MBBS in 2005 and completed the fellowship in Chemical Pathology at University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. In 2016 Dr Nalika migrated to Australia to commence at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. She made Tasmania her home in 2018 with starting General practice here. She is a fellow at The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Dr Nalika has a warm, patient-focused approach to care and enjoys supporting patients through all stages of life. She has particular interests in Chronic disease Management, Preventative Health and Women’s & Children’s health. She is fluent in both English and Sinhalese.
Outside of medicine, Dr Nalika enjoys spending time with her family. She loves trail walking with her husband and is very family-oriented.
