Sana brings over a decade of experience in women’s health to Health Nexus Launceston. Previously, she worked at Mersey Community Hospital and Northwest Regional Hospital and continues her clinical work at the Launceston General Hospital in the Obs & Gynae department.
Sana’s keen interest lies in various aspects of women’s health including period problems, contraception, pre-conception, pregnancy, postpartum care, sexual health, fertility issues and issues that arise for women later in life.
In her leisure time, she finds joy in gardening and cherishing moments with her young family.
Sana is priortising her current general practice clients. She welcomes new clients seeking care for pregnancy and women’s health concerns only.

Most Outstanding GP – Australian Patients Association awards, 2022
Dr Sana was named Most Outstanding GP at the Australian Patients Association’s annual awards, held in Melbourne on 18 August 2022. The award was decided on feedback from patients across Australia. The RACGP’s newsGP reported on it on 20 August 2022.
