Dr Sunethra Semasinghe is a dedicated General Practitioner with diverse experience in Emergency Medicine, Women’s Health, Child Health, Chronic Disease Management, Mental Health, Skin Cancer Medicine, and Travel Medicine. She has gained valuable experience in both Australian and Sri Lankan hospital settings.
Dr Semasinghe is a member of the International Society of Travel Medicine and completed the Primary Certificate in Immunisation & Vaccination in 2023. She also earned a Graduate Certificate in Child Health from Western Sydney University in 2024 and holds a Professional Certificate in Skin Cancer Medicine.
Outside of her professional work, Dr Semasinghe enjoys gardening, travelling, and spending quality time with her young family.
She is passionate about providing exceptional care and is excited to welcome new patients to Health Nexus Launceston. Dr Semasinghe will be available Monday to Friday.
